I need my own instant messenger. I'm fade up of gtalk and ymsngr. It will be an desktop application. It wont be as sophisticated as Yahoo! messenger or gtalk. User should able to register and an unique ID should be assigned to him/her. User should add, remove his friends. I also need installer for it. To start it with in case you need, I will give you my source code written into VB. This is 50% code of client. Server has to be written from scratch.
This is an interesting project. You would learn TCP/IP protocol. I also bid Rs 1000 for this project.
