The Girl - Part 1

It'd been long since when I was thinking to write particularly about feminism. Having said that let me give a bit about my family background. Parents and one younger brother. That's it. No sister :(
But of course, many cousin sisters. But cousin sister cannot be substitute of own sister, in general.

It all began with a difference. The displacement of few ounce of flesh across the naval. They should be treated differently not unequally. Men are physically stronger than women. That became the crucial factor in creating a man dominant society. All the laws were made by men. Therefore, they executed well for men. And women had no apparent benefit from them. So they remained dormant. But now in the post-globalization era women power is rising. That is economical aspect. Historically, men has performed well in all the field like science, philosophy, politics, rulership, spirituality.. Women doesn't stand anywhere. In science Einstein rules, in philosophy Socrates rules, in leadership Gandhi rules, in rulership Alexander rules and in spirituality Jesus/Buddha/Krishna rules. There is no female scientist at par comparable with Einstein. I know some people don't like to compare. But beware, compare is the basis of your qualification. No, I am not criticizing feminism. I am just saying what I have observed. I might be talking totally nonsense. There are only two possibility for this. Either they cant do big creation or they don't want to do big creation. I think latter is true. They don't want to do big creation. They don't want to make better painting then Michael Angelo. Can they make better paintings than Michael Angelo. Yes they can. But they don't want to. Sometimes, it happens. You can do a thing but you don't want to do that for some reason. And the reason I found is, women's greatest creation is the ability to give birth which no male can do. Creating something live is most difficult thing. Which even thousands of Michael Angelo cannot do that. No matter how good his painting is. But the painting is dead. There is not life in those paintings. But woman's creation has life in it. Which has power to give birth to Michael Angelo. Therefore, woman are definitely the greatest creator. And I think that's the reason they don't want to create any thing non-living. So, women's biggest asset is to become a mother. A women is considered to be incomplete unless she become a mother. But the modern girls don't want to be mother so soon. They are more career oriented. In today's world career has become most important. Earlier people do not used to worry more about career. They were happy.

Nature doesn't give everything in free. If nature make man more powerful, then females are in general more resistive. They have strong survival instinct. Given an identical situation females will survive comparatively longer. That's the reason 4-5 years age gap are kept at the time of marriage. Husbands are older.

In India, women have been particularly more unfortunate. After Gargi's incident they had been deprived from main streamline of knowledge - Vedas. That made their condition even more worse. They became as a congregator of man's earning and remained mostly as men's physical commodity. They had no strong power in the family affairs. But the situation has improved a bit now.

Feel free to agree/disagree... :)

Himalayan Saints

I am reading a book - Living with Himalayan Saints by Swami Rama. An OK book. In the book he has described his experiences about living with so many Himalayan Saints. In fact, I also wanted to meet few Himalayan saints. But never got a chance :( Just wanted to understand their life-style. There are many tales of Himalayan Yogis who can really defy most of the laws of physics say gravitation. Many saints can levitate few foots easily. I do not take the authority if its true, I am just writing what I read in the books. I never witnessed them. These might be hoax also. However, by contemplating on it, it doesn't seem to be impossible.

Swami Rama met many saints in the Himalayas. And each saint he met was famous for some particular kind of power. However he did stressed that enlightenment has nothing to do with these supernatural powers. Out of ignorance, at times, he was rating saints on the basis of power they possessed. Later he realized it was foolishness. His master's master was amazing. He had power of getting vanished. He was really very advanced. Actually, they do not break laws of physics, but they do have access to higher level consciousness by which they can bend the laws of physics in anyway they want. Not Sure. I was thinking more on this. How does a force get transmitted in a bar. Science still doesn't know the answer of this question in its completeness. Say there is a bar of mass M and length L. I apply force to an end. In effect whole rod move ahead although the force was applied at one point. I analyzed this behaviour. The force you apply is transmitted to each and every atom of the bar. That's why the atom of the bar also move. But what is the phenomena which caused these atoms to move although the force applied was entirely mechanical.? And only way electrons can be moved is the electric field. So does it mean that the mechanical force generated electrical field? The business doesn't stop at electron level. Electron is not the fundamental particle. Electrons are also sub-divisible. Then how does that sub-particle move? After getting 581 rank in JEE I still don't know what makes F = mA works? F=mA is the equation of observation. It doesn't tell you why does a force move an object. It's just a quantitative observation. It's not a causal observation. Science has no answer for causal phenomenon. These Himalayan saints has access to that causal. By which they are able to bend the laws of physics. Isn't it?
That was one example. You take any example and analyze in it's completeness. Ultimately you will find science will give up. Science can answer only that which has a reason. And a reason has another reason. Where science lands, spirituality takes off...

Granularization of present

I am still in rat race. Either I have to stop racing or I have to win the race and stop. I do not want it everlasting race. Never wanted to study into IIT. Went to IIT just coz of dad's wish. And this put me into non-ending race. Nothing changed fundamentally. Really doesn't matter what degree you possess. Because the consciousness within you has nothing to do with degree. And for that reason I ditched IIM. I exist, story starts here and ends here. No need to put bookish information in my brain. Book is not always a good thing. Because at later point of time, all bookish information will deplete and only that which touched your heart will prevail. Your mind is nothing but the function of previous mental states. Mind knows only what you did in the past. And past is dead. So mind is also dead. Whatever future prediction mind does, thats also based on past experience. So, past is dead. And future doesn't exist. So, what remains is present. And I really find it difficult to remain just in present. Because mind either goes to past or future. Present is very thin layer of existence. Because, if you add 1 femto second in the present it will become future. And if you subtract 1 femto second from present it will become past. Essentially, only present exists, but it's granularity is so thin that mind cannot percept it and mind wanders in past and future. We exist in that infinitesimal granularity of present. Of which we are not aware of.

In my observer post I stated to be observer. That's nothing but being in presence. When you become observer past and future will vanish and the present will granularize maximumly. Granularize the present and truth will be revealed to you. :)

BUDDHA - A Story of Enlightenment

Lately I read "BUDDHA - A Story of Enlightenment" by Deepak Chopra. BUDDHA was the most free person among anyone who ever walked on the earth. This man crossed all the limits. He did what everyone should do. He was a prince. Prince in general has the best life. If god give me an option to be either king or prince, I will choose for prince. Buddha's childhood name was Siddhartha. From his childhood he showed is meditative sign. He was so sensitive that he used to get disturbed by killing even ants.

He did felt the pain. Although he had everything. He was a prince. What would a prince need to worry for? The revolution happened when he saw a corpse. Till 29 years, he doesn't know that people die also. Once he knew that people dies, eventually, and he is gonna die too, he left his wife, son, father, kingdom, his servant Channa, everyone. His father Suddhodana kept him in 3 palace surrounded by walls. He gave him lots of court girls, but Siddhartha did not show any interest to them. Although Siddartha got attracted towards Sujata. ;). That's so natural.

After he renounced the world, he became a monk. He did intense practice for 6 years deep inside forest. Meanwhile, he came across some couple of teachers. But he was not satisfied with anyone of them. Finally, he choose d himself to be his teacher. Later he used to take extremely low food intake. His body became like a skeleton. Thinn. And nothing was happening. Then few wandering singing girls were passing by him. He eared their song. Then he got the idea of middle-way. And he determined that he would be meditating under this banyan tree until he get full illumination.

Mara attacked him from many side. But, Gautama was calm and collected. Finally, he burnt his total desire. The desire of getting enlightenment also vanished. There was nothing into his mind. There was no thought for him. But, mind always needs something to work on. And when there is nothing to work on, mind works on god. This is what happened with buddha. In that mindless state he remained for many days. He remained submerged into infinite consciousness. When he opened the eye, he was buddha. After that he started walking into the forest. He saw that entire forest is passing into him. And he is passing into trees. He was easily able to vanish anything. He was able to see any distant place. He was able to do anything just by his wish. He had full control over nature. In just a blink of his eye he remembered his previous 10,000 life times.

Buddha went to 5 monks and made them his disciple. Then he spread ed his message. He said, this life is indeed painful. And there are reason behind this. But one can always find the reason and be happy.

The observer

When do you become observer? Being an observer means being aware of what's going on. But, who is the observer? It's the indwelling consciousness within us. The same consciousness is spread ed everywhere. And is in every human being. However, that pure consciousness is wrapped by the clouds of ego. It's your ego which prevents you from being observer.

Ego makes your heart like a stone, It makes your heart like barren land where no fruit of happiness can survive. First you have to drop your ego to understand the all pervasive consciousness. Understanding that you are the doer alone is the most foolish act. Doer is the consciousness. You falsely assume that you are doing. If you become silent observer you'd never say i am doing.

Either you exist or GOD exists. Both cannot exist together. When you exist, your ego boosts you up. Then GOD is absent. There is not much space in this universe that two things can survive. Only one will exist at a time - either you or GOD. This is what is Vedanta. Non dualism.

What is the relationship between ego and GOD?

GOD is inactive. GOD doesn't interfere your freedom. GOD let you do whatever you want to within natural laws. Ego is active. Ego most vibrant. Your ego will create the gap between you and god. And if you become observer of your ego that will bridge the gap.

Many says everything is GOD. That's true only when you become the observer. The witnesse. Otherwise you are everything. GOD will not hamper your natural evolution but when you become pure observer, the evolution will happen by GOD. That way you won't be bounded by the laws of karma's. Otherwise, your ego will accumulate lots of karma's. The only way to destroy the effect of karma's is to become pure observer.

You yourself don't let the things happen. You are the biggest problem of yourself. There is a story. An elephant was crossing the bridge. Out of his weight the bridge started shaking. The ant on the elephant said "I shock the bridge". Elephant said, "yeah, you are also there, I didn't Even heed you". Your ego is like that ant sitting on the elephant like infinite consciousness saying "I am the doer". Don't be ant. Ego is nothing but condensed manifestation of consciousness.
