The continuty of the truth

One of the most fundamental nature of truth is "continuity". It's continuous nature. Truth is continuous. Because, it has always existed. There was no time when there was no truth. There will not be any time, without any truth. That is one reason which makes it difficult to achieve. Because, it's continuous. A continuous flow of time exists. A continuous flow of space exists. Go to outside and just look at the sky. What a beauty!!. What a continuous space! Whatever god created, it's amazing. Spectacular beauty. Whatever man created, is pathetic. The diminishing beauty. Look at any creation of God. Moon, Sun and stars...What a beauty. What a pattern. There is a harmony in god's creation. The sun rises in the east every morning. The sun never forgets to do that. We don't realize it. Because, it happens daily. We take it granted, that it will anyway happen. But according to me, it's a miracle. How does the sun knows that it has to rise again tomorrow morning? Where is that underlying consciousness inside sun? It's good to treat the whole universe as a being which has it's own brain/mind/consciousness. Look around you. Everything is a miracle. It's happening by itself. We cant see that because we have become addicted to it. Addicted people cannot recognize miracle. Even an ant is a miracle. A small creature can walk. Can decide up to some extent. Put an obstacle into the ant's path and ant will stop moving, or will change the direction. It's a miracle. How does the ant know that it has to do that? In different different form Truth has appeared. It was impossible but it has become possible. Go watch trees, the birds, mountains, forests - you can see the whole of divine present right there. Because, it is present everywhere every time. That's the beauty of it - Truth is beautiful and easy.

Note the word continuous. It's a beautiful word. Because, there is no break in it. A continuous flow. A continuous flow of a river. The water was flowing and is still flowing...It got a continuity. The continuous flow of the water. Now apply it to the truth. You might feel like attaining the truth. But it may be momentarily. At some point of time, you might know the truth. But the very next moment you may not know that. Because, there is possibility of loosing it. Because, truth unless achieved completely is discontinuous in the nature. That discontinuity is the biggest problem to the humanity. On a certain day you might feel very elated, very enlightened. But some another day you may not feel that. This happens. This happens very frequently. If you plot the graph of the degree of attained truth it will be sinusoidal. You might digitize it to make it discontinuous. Buddha's graph of his enlightenment will be a horizontal line. Because, it has reach to it's maximum. Now it won't go down. Just remains horizontal. So after certain threshold, there is not chance of falling. No chance of discontinuity. Truth will be continuous for you only when you achieve it by 100%. Otherwise it's discontinuous. Highly discontinuous. I would say randomly discontinuous. So, achieve it fully. Then only you know it.

The path of enlightenment

There are many paths. But the destination is same. This is in layman's term - when you need a path. A milestone. A journey...A voyage. However, someone can simply transcend it. At the end, to transcend is the only way. Transcend to the extent that nothing is left to transcend. Look at the history. How it originated. Moment by moment the future is converted into the past. I've lived moment by moment. Second by second. First second goes...I see it...then second second goes I witness and then third second goes I witness it and it continues indefinitely....This is the point of knowledge. An observation. An acute observation. To you it might appear as an stupidity. It has to appear like a stupidity. That's how the society has evolved. The society is least worry about the evolution of human consciousness. To society, future is the most important. We all work for better future. Don't' we? We do. All our endeavor leads towards the making of a better future. A better place. That's the reason we have so many stories, so many dreams starts with "One Day". Society has only shown us a dream. Our happiness lies into the future which doesn't exist. Remember this present was future in the past and if we are not happy now that means the dream in the past was wrong. That makes this very present moment wrong because present moment was the future in the past. That further means that every moment is something wrong. So the assumption that happiness lies the future itself is a bullshit concept. But when you say happiness lies in the present moment. It makes absolute sense. This is what is the final reality. And present moment happens by itself. It's a pure flow. There is no scope of contamination in the present moment. Because, it's continuously changing. The moment you try to contaminate it, it becomes history. And history is dead. Absolutely dead. There is absolutely no way out to change the history. No scientist can do that. However time exists in multi-dimensional form. It can be changed in some other dimension. Possible. But makes no difference to reality. And if you go even more deep...all problem simply disappears. So very fundamentally, problems do not exist. However, it does exist at the non-fundamental level. Buddha's first statement was - "there are problems". Actually he is referring to the problems at the non-fundamental level of existence. Secondly he says - "there are reason behind problems". Again he is referring to non-fundamental reasons. The moment you know the root. All problems vanish. This is what he is trying to say. He took 6 years to understand this. But, then he understood that, that was momentarily. Suppose you are going from Bangalore to kolkata. It makes 2.5 hours to reach Kolkata. But the moment you landing kolkata will be momentarily. That will be instantaneous. In a second it will happen. However, it took 2.5 hours of time to reach kolkata. But you landed at Kolkata at very particular instant. That instant is important. This is what happened with Buddha on his day of enlightenment. If you do what Buddha did just before his enlightenment. You will be enlightened too. Because, that's when he is landing into the infinite. That's the reason I say - At the transition, simply transcend. If you copy Buddha for 6 years. You may not achieve his level. But of you just copy what he did on his day of enlightenment - there is high chance of achieving good spiritual status. And above all it has to be simple. Truth has to be simple and beautiful. And easy also. Of course on the cost of evolved consciousness. Nature has a plan. It goes by it's plan. Don't interfere nature's plan. In Gee ta Krishna says - "Work but don't worry about fruit". Now this is great statement. Perhaps one of the best every observed by humanity. what it means essentially is that nature is Infinite. That's why you don't worry. Only finite things would cause worry. So, moment you start realizing your surrounding as part of that infinite you would be free from Karma and that's when you don't worry about it. You have to be free from Karma. Then only you cannot worry about it. And you can be free if it is not your Karma. So if you assume that it's Karma of nature - you needn't to worry. And actually that's how it is. Nature has evolved in such a manner that it will do Karma for it's survival. Karma has never stopped. But that is the demand of nature. That's the very fundamental nature of the nature. You have nothing to do in that. Karma just happen because of fundamental property of the nature. You as a free soul have no stake in that. So what do you do in this case. As Krishna says - Don't worry about fruit. How can you don't worry about fruit - Just observe. Just witness. That is the fundamental philosophy of Karma.

Married

It has been long, really long since I wrote last blog. The news to share is that I am married :) I got married to Arundhati on 6th May 2009 at Jamshedpur. We knew each other for more than 3 years. We got engaged on 10 December 2008. There are so many things to write down. I don't know where to start and where to end...Baarat departed from Muzaffarpur to Jamshedpur. We had all the fun all along the way. Met with so many relatives. Staying 7 days on her home was real-real-real fun. Especially in a ritual called Dhakan chori. In that they hide Dhakan somewhere and I had to search them. Thanks to so many Saalis and Saasu ma to help me out some couple of times :-) At muzaffarpur she had to listen some abusive language as a part of ritual which she didn't like at all. Stayed 4 days at Muzaffarpur. Then our journey started towards moutains, forests, hills....darjeeling and Gangtok. Gangtok was better than Darjeeling, played with snow. And most important spent time together :) Then went to KGP also to refresh my memories. Then finally way back to bangalore... Will write more sometime later

Ego

I want to scribble on Ego for sometime. I forgot the definition of Ego taught in psychology class. What I undetstand Ego is as follows...

Whenever, you identify yourself with something. That identity will be ego, will cause ego. For example, I am an engineer. But essentially, I am not an engineer. Essentially, I am I. Just an existence, a being. But we keep on identifying. Whole life we identify our self with what we are not. This is where ego pops up. And sometimes ego is very subtle. If someone is polite, you can say he doesn't have ego. But that's not always right. Even a polite people can have ego. They have ego of politeness. A good person can have ego of goodness. I have seen such people. And sometimes, their ego of politness is even greater than ego of someone's rusty nature. At even more abstract level, you can say ego is negative truth. Negativity of truth is ego. Wherever there is no truth, ego persists. Because only false identity remains in that case.

बुद्धत्व

अगर हमें बुद्धत्व न मिले तो ये समझाना की सारा जीवन व्यर्थ हुआ। हमने बहोत काम किया और अगर आत्मज्ञान न मिले तो फिर सारा जीवन व्यर्थ है। मिलने की बात तो तब जब हमने ये मान लिया की हमने सत्य को खो दिया है। ऐसा हो सकता है की हमने सत्य को कभी खोया ही न हो और बेकार मे ढूंढ रहे हों। ये ज्ञान की बात है। प्रायोगिक रूम पे तुम सत्य को खोजो। जंगल मे खोजो, मन्दिर मे खोजो...जहाँ मन वहां खोजो। बद्ध भी खोजे थे जंगल मे। जंगल मे ऐसा क्या है? की सारे ब्रह्मज्ञानी जंगल भाग गए। सत्य का जंगल से कुछ भी लेना देना नही है। अगर जंगल जाने से ही सत्य मिले तो फिर जंगल ही सत्य है। सत्य राजमहलों मे भी मिल सकता था। अगर पात्रता है तो राजमहलों मे भी मिलेगा। तो फिर बुद्ध जंगल क्यों भाग गए ? वो वही जाने।

पर अति पारमार्थिक ज्ञान यही कहता है की खूजने की जरुरत नही है। पर इसे तुम सैद्धान्तिकअ मत ले लेना। सिद्धांत कोई बहोत अच्छी चीज नही है। थोरा बहोत सिद्धांतवादी होना ठीक है। जादा सिद्धांतवादी मत बनना। नही तो फिर सिद्धांत मे ही फेस रह जाओगे। हमें सत्य मिला ही हुआ है यह कोई सिद्धांत नही है। यह तुम्हारी प्रतीति होनी चाहिए। आश्चर्य है की हवाओं का एक झोका बहे और हमें ज्ञान न मिले । आश्चर्य है की कोयल की गूँज हमारे काने मे गूंजे और और हमें सत्य न मिले। आश्चर्य है की हम हरे भरे लहलहाते खेल खलिहानों को देखे और हमें ज्ञान न मिले। आश्चर्य है की पक्षियों की चहचहाहट हम सुने दे और हमें ज्ञान ने मिले। एक पत्ता काफ़ी हो सकता है सत्य को पाने के लिए। तुम एक पत्ते को सिर्फ़ एक पत्ता मत समझ लेना। उसमे सारा रहस्य छिपा है। वो पत्ता कहाँ से आया? अगर तुम उस पत्ते को भी पकर लो तो वो तुम्हे सत्य तक पहुँचा सकता है। पर इसके ज्ञान चाहिए। परिपक्वा चैतन्य चाहिए। जो बुद्ध के पास था। जो जीसस के पास था। हमारे पास नही है यह हमारी मान्यता है, सत्य नही है।

Newton's first law applied to karma

Newton's first law is highly philosophical. Newton's second law is mathematical. Third law is a fact. Newton's first law says if an object is moving, it will continue to move with same velocity in the same direction unless you exert an external force on it. One of the very fine observation Newton did. But, it can be also applied to our daily work with little bit of modification. Suppose you are doing some work. You are doing... That means it will complete surely. Since there is no external factor which can stop it. So whatever is happening that means it happened. It's negation is also true. Not happening means, it didn't happen. Happening means, it happened. Now lets take an example. Suppose I am filling a glass with water. Now when glass is being filled, how can I say that it is filled? It's being filled, but not yet filled. And if I stop the tap glass will be not filled. It appears to be contradicting but actually it's not the case. When the glass is being filled if you don't stop the tap it will fill always. In your mind you are thinking that I may stop the tap. That's the external force. If you exert external force it may not fill. But then reverse will be true. That is you never wanted the glass to fill and it didn't fill. In you mind u were saying will not fill, will not fill, will not fill...and it couldn't fill.So, it's same thing. Whether you want it to fill or not to fill. So, that's why I say - whatever is happening will happen. And since it will happen you can say it happened. So, if something is happening that means it happened. If a dried leaf is falling from the tree that means it fell. It is bound to fall. But an acute observer will treat it has already fallen. That is what happens with humanity. The death of one person represents the death of whole of the humanity. No body could survived everlasting. That is what happened with Buddha. He saw a dead body, he understood. He left. We don't understand anything. Our consciousness is not that ripe as Buddha, as Jesus. But it can be made so just by understanding Newton's law. We were taught Newton's laws several times. But no one taught us the deep meaning of Newton's first law. That's the reason I don't consider our education system as complete education system. We have been taught in a hurry. The teacher was always in hurry to finish the syllabus. Teach them less, but teach them better. Give them time to assimilate the things. Don't just ask them to memorize equations and vomit in exams. Then they will expore. Newton's law is not the final theory of the universe. They will develop more theory. I am in search of a unified general theory of physics which will describe the nature in every possible manner. Frm micro to marco. From low speed to high speed.

The flower and the stone

Which one is more beautiful - the flower or the stone? Flower has a life. Stone doesn't. Flower is beautiful stone is not so. However, stone is stronger than the flower. A wind can take away the flower but not the stone. So definitely, the stone is more stronger than flower. A stone can harm someone. It has no feeling. Flower will never cause any harm. On the contrary it will be the source of happiness, the source of liveliness. I will always suggest to become like flower. Because, the stone has no life whereas flower is full of life, full of beauty, full of fragrance. A stone has no fragrance. There is a hope in the flower. Stone has no hope. A flower has a chance to go to temple on the lord's feet. One someone's hair. There are infinite possibility for the flower. Stone however is dusty, jerky rutty etc.

The Philosophy of Love

Where are we drifting...? It is a journey without any destination. There appears to be no destination. Only journey exists. A travel... a march... a voyage. No voyage ever ended. If journey was started then it has to end. But it appears to be an eternal journey which will never end. If it had to ended then it would have ended. And since it didn't end that means it will never end. So much time has elapsed. Travel in time in the backward direction. Go back in the history. Infinite years of history exist behind us. And infinite years of future is ahead of us. And between this two extremal only present exists. Perhaps, the only thing which ever existed was this very present moment. Present is nothing but the transcended form of past and future. When both past and future are transcended, the present persists. We do so many things. So many things we did. For what? To attain the stability. The moment you do something, you essentially try to nullify the cause of that work. This is tricky. Extremely tricky. The very nature of any kind of work is to nullify it's existence. Because the very core of the existence is void. Therefore, all our activity drifts towards the nullification of the existence. Any task or work tries to nullify it's cause. So, the whole humanity, infact the whole universe drifts towards the void. We may not observe it casually. But when you think calmly you would see it. Let me put few examples to support this fact. When I eat, that means I am nullifying the cause which had forced me to eat. So, after I eat that cause doesn't exist anymore. That was the purpose of eating. By eating I simply nullified the cause which had forced me to eat. It universally applies everywhere. We read so that we don't have to read that again. And this process is done best by love. Because love is an expression of heart. Heart doesn't know any mathematics. Mind knows mathematics. Then it will start calculating. And moment you calculate you cannot nullify the cause. The easiest way to nullify the cause is to transcend it. And nothing can transcend better than love. Therefore love has to be transcendental. Only a pure transcendental love can nullify the cause of existence and merge with truth. Mind cannot transcend. Because, it will be trapped in calculations. So, your love should be of very high order. Like Romeo and Juliet.

The reason why most of love marriage breaks is the absence of pure love. Love marriage will blossom only when they have pure love. Love marriage is a beautiful thing. But make sure you love him/her like anything. You can cross all the boundaries for him/her. In order to get him/her you are ready to even die. That much degree of love is required. You should cross the mountains, rivers, desserts for her. The other parameter of love is the sacrifice with no expected returns. Love her unconditionally. However, it doesn't seem feasible in today's world where everybody knows the language of RoL. Lol.

राम

हिंदू संस्कृति मे जितना नाम सम्मान राम को दिया गया है उतना सम्मान और किसी को नही दिया गया है। सारा हिंदुत्व राम पर टिका हुआ है। अगर तुम भारत की संस्कृति से राम को हटा दो तो फिर उसमे कुछ खास नही बचता। हमें बचपन से सिखाये जाते हैं की राम जैसा बन। हुन्दुस्तान ने सिर्फ़ इतिहास की तरफ़ देखा है। हमारा इतिहास अच्छा था। की कभी राम हुआ होगा। पर वर्तमान बहोत ख़राब है. अब राम लाखो साल पहले हुए। और हम लाखों साल से राम के गीत गा रहे हैं। राम नाम जप रहे हैं। राम से भी अच्छे आदमी हुए होंगे। जिनका हमें कुछ भी नही पता। क्योंकि उनके बारे मे कोई अयन नही लिखा गया था। ऐसा नही की नही लिखा जा सकता tha, नही लिखा गया। राम ने काफ़ी अच्छे काम किए। इस से हमें क्या फर्क परता है। बहुतों ने बहोत अच्छे अच्छे काम किए हैं और किए होंगे। तो? अच्छा का वोही सिद्धांत था की अच्छाई अपने जगह पर होती है। इसका मतलब ये नही की हम उसे पकर लें। हमने राम को लाखों वर्षों से पकर के रखा है। कुछ भी कोई तो राम ने ऐसा किया था। हिन्दुओं की साड़ी चेतनाएं राम के इर्द गिर्द घूमती हैं। राम ने ऐसा किया तो हम भी ऐसा करेंगे। हमने सिर्फ़ इतिहास मे झाँका है। हमारा कोई भविष्य नही है। बस हमारा इतिहास स्वर्णमय था। और उसी के बारे मे गीत हो रहते हैं। की अब कोई राम पैदा नही हो सकता है। अब राम या राम से अच्छे व्यक्ति के पैदा होने अब कोई भी सम्भावना नही है. अब कोई भी आदमी पैदा हो वो राम जैसा नही हो सकता है । क्योंकि राम मनुष्य जाती की सर्वोत्तम पराकाष्टा का नाम है। हमारा कोई भी भविष्य नही है। बस हमारा अतीत अच्छा था। इतने सारे वेद, उपनिषद, पुराण इस बात के गवाह हैं। हिन्दुस्तान की पास जितने धार्मिक ग्रन्थ हैं उतने पुरी दुनिए मे नही होंगे। लेकिन इसका मतलब ये नही की हम भी बहोत धार्मिक हैं। हिन्दुस्तान मे हजार चोर पैदा होते हैं तो फिर एक राम पैदा होता है। पाश्चात्य देशों मे राम कम पैदा होते हैं पर वहां चोर भी कम पैदा होते हैं। हिन्दुस्तान मे साधुओं और संयासिओं की संख्या इतनी जादा इसलिए है क्योंकि यहाँ चोरों की संख्या भी बहोत जादा है। साधू और चोर का बहोत ही पारस्परिक सम्बन्ध है। साधू वहीँ पैदा होते हैं जहाँ चोर पैदा होते हैं। चोरों के बिना साधू का क्या प्रयोजन? साधू का काम ही यही है की चोर को उसके पापों से मुक्त करना। तो हमने राम जैसे मानव इसलिए पैदा किए की हमारे पास चोरों की संख्या बहोत जादा हो गई थी। चोर इतने जादा हो गए थे की राम को आना पारा। राम हमारी परम्परा के धरोहर तो हैं हिं, मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम हैं, पर उनसे हमारे समाज की निकृष्टतम स्वरुप की रूपरेखा भी झलकती है - जैसे की रावण।

प्रेम

जैसा की मैंने कहा था की प्रेम का निस्वार्थ होना जरुरी है। निस्वार्थ प्रेम की कसौटी है। अगर प्रेम मे थोरा भी स्वार्थ है तो वो प्रेम नही है। फिर वो वासना है। इंग्लैंड मे जब औद्योगिक क्रांति हुई तो प्रेम का समाज मर गया। समय कम हो गया। प्रेम करने के लिए समय चाहिए । अब समय कहाँ हैं? सुबह से लेके शाम तक तो हम अपने काम काज मे व्यस्त रहते हैं। काम इतना महत्वपूर्ण हो गया की प्रेम की अभिव्यक्ति भी काम करने से होने लगी। शाम के बाद भी हमें चैन कहाँ। रात्रि मे तो हम भोजन करते हैं, टीवी देखते हैं, ऑरकुट करते हैं, फिर सो जाते हैं। फिर हमने प्रेम किया कब? २४ घंटे के समय मे हमारे पास १० मिनट भी नही बचता है प्रेम करने के लिए। हम हमेसा कुछ करते रहते हैं। हमेसा। और जन्म, जन्मान्तर, कल्प, कल्पान्तर तक करते रहते हैं। और भी हमें कुछ नही मिलता है। मैंने आजतक ऐसे एक भी व्यक्ति से नही मिला जो कुछ नही कर रहा है। जेसुस ने कुछ नही किया होगा। बुद्ध ने कुछ नही किया होगा। कुछ नही किया और सब कुछ हुआ। हम किए और कुछ भी नही हुआ। हम करते ही रह गए। प्रेम का हमें कुछ भी नही पता चल paaya। आज के समाज का जो प्रेम है वो रात का प्रेम है। क्योंकि दिन भर तो हम अपने काम काज मे व्यस्त रहते हैं। दिन मे हम प्रेम की कल्पना भी नही कर पाते। क्योंकि हमारे काम हमने कल्पना भी नही करने देते। हमने भौतिक उत्पाद को तो बढ़ा दिया पर उसका हमें मूल्य चुकाना पारा। मूल्य तो चुकाना ही परता है। बिना मूल्य चुकाए सिर्फ़ सत्य ही मिल सकता है। सत्य को छोर कर हर चीज का मूल्य चुकाना परता है। भौतिक उत्पाद मे बढोतरी का मूल्य ये है की हमने प्रेम को भुला दिया। बस प्रेम राख के रूप मे रह गई है। की कभी कोई रोमियो जूलियट हुआ होगा। की कभी कोई लैला मजनू हुआ होगा। अब लैला मजनू नही पैदा होते। हो भी नही सकते। कोई सम्भावना नही है की पारमार्थिक प्रेमी पैदा हो जाए। कहाँ से होगा ? समाज अब उपभोक्तावादी हो गया है। प्रेम करने की जगह नही है अब। कब प्रेम करोगे? समय नही है प्रेम करने का। आज हर कोई व्यस्त है अपने काम काज me। "Sweetheart, I am in the middle of a meeting call u later!!" अब प्रेम नही होते हैं, अब मीटिंग होती है।

प्रेम का वास्तविक सिद्धांत था अद्वैत को प्राप्त करना। प्रेम अद्वैत की तरफ की यात्रा है। दो मिल के एक होना। एक होना हमारी गहनतम आकांक्षा है। प्रेम तो बस माध्यम है। होना तो हमें एक ही है। चाहे वो प्रेम से हो या फिर ध्यान से हो या फिर किसी और माध्यम से हो। हम दो नही समझ सकते। दो होता भी नही हैं। क्योंकि अस्तित्व एक है। इसलिए एक होना हमारी गहनतम आकांक्षा है। अगर तुम ठीक से अवलोकन करो तो हमारे सारे कार्य अद्वैत की तरफ़ की यात्रा है। बस हमें प्रतीति होती है की बहोत कुछ हो रहा है। हो कुछ भी नही रहा है। मृगतृष्णा की भांति हम जीवन काटते हैं। की भविष्य मे कुछ मिल जाए। अब तक तो कुछ मिला नही। अगर कुछ मिलना ही होता तो अब तक मिल गया होता। जन्म जन्मान्तर बीत जाते हैं फिर भी हमारी निगाहें भविष्य पे टिकी होती हैं। की कहीं कुछ मिल जाए। और नही मिलता है। कभी किसी को नही मिला। कुछ है ही नही तो मिलेगा क्या। और अगर मिले भी, तो मिल ही गया। अब मिले, तब मिले उस से क्या फर्क परता है। अगर मिलेगा, तो ये समझो की मिल ही गया। क्योंकि मिलेगा ही, मतलब मिल ही गया। फिर किस बात का रोना धोना। क्योंकि सब तो मिला ही हुआ है तुम्हे। मिलेगा, मतलब मिल ही गया, मतलब मिला ही हुआ है।

Ramlings

This post may not make any sense. Because, I want it that way. I don't want to make sense always. Have become bored of making sense always. I want to ramble. I see a beauty in random. The random beauty. And sometimes better than a pre-planned artificial beauty. The world outside is beautiful, extremely beautiful. The trees, birds, these rivers, forests, mountains, terrain, sky, clouds, horizon are indeed beautiful. To me horizon is the most beautiful visible manifestation. But, if you go inside, that is even more beautiful. Perhaps infinite times more beautiful than the outer world. It looks like there is nothing inside. Everything is outside. The world outside is infinite and the world inside is also infinite. Both are infinite. That's how it stabilizes. It makes absolutely no sense if there is nothing into inside. Every outside has an inside. Every inside has an outside. Einstein goes outside. Buddha goes inside. Both mind thinks upto infinity. But one goes outside, another goes inside. Here inside is a relative term. Actually it's neither outside not inside, it's transcended. Randomly splash a handful of sand on the floor. Do you able to see any beauty in it's pattern? Initially you won't so any beauty in it. But if you observe little closely you would start finding beauty in it. An unprecedented beauty. What we observe the world is just a trivial observation. It's default observation. That is observation without any effort. But that doesn't go deep. So, the inferences you out of those trivial observation is very straightforward. I don't know whether it's good or bad. Neither I want to know. But the observation can change if you observe carefully. Lots of things will be revealed to you. Suppose a bird is flying the sky. What do you understand by it? A bird is just flying? That's true but not only that. The whole nature is supporting that bird to fly. What is that consciousness that made that bird to think and fly. The very first perturbation in the brain of the bird to fly. How much time passed in the bird's time frame. The bird might feel thousands of years equivalent time passed (in the bird's time frame) in a short fly of 10 minutes. There is something divine consciousness operating in that bird which makes it all to happen. There may be so many things to observer in a bird's fly. But you need time to observer. But where is the time? Everybody is in hurry. More than 95% of humanity is in hurry for no good reason. Time has been compressed. All these industrial revolution created a time compressor unknowingly. Because, everything has a cost associated with it. Nothing works at zero operating cost. We did so many things, so many devices we made that's true. But on cost of what? On the cost of compressing the time. Look at the world history before industrial revolutions. Time was expanded. People had time to observer, to love. Now when do you love? You and your wife both are in different office. Humanity only know the love in nights and weekends. After industrial revolution humanity has no idea of what is called day time weekdays love. Most of the love making happens in night. I think time has come to reduce the production. But first reduce the population. Create less and good people else it's gonna ruined the humanity. There were so many animals. But the all got extinct. Ask why? Because, they started multiplying. And their population became so large that everyone started fighting and eating everyone. I am afraid if it can happen with humans also. It may happens if we don't control the population. Just control the population and lots of problem will be solved automatically.

Little bit more on pranayam

I wanted to stress out that that Pranayam is not a simple practice. It looks simple though - Just playing with breath. But if done in wrong manner it can be hazardous to the health. Averse effect may happen to health. So, it's always better to do it under the proper guidance of Yoga teacher preferably under a guru.

Breath is the most vital thing. Infact, whole of Yoga system is laid on the breath. Even is Aasan concentration is upon breath. Asan is not just a physical posture as it appears. Which whole of the west understands. Different physical posture channelize the Pran in different directions. That's what is the purpose of Aasan. For example "Paschimmotansan" channelizes the pran into naval centre. There are some 8 millions number of asans Lord shiva has taugt. Shiva is the greatest yogi. All the knowledge about yoga comes from him. So, before practicing yoga we must pay our reverance to Lord Shiva. But I guess you cant do 8 millions asaans. There are asans on the name of almost every animal. Few asanas can be done is - Siddhasan, Padmasan, Paschimottanasan, Dhanuransan, Bhujangasan, Chakrasan, Sheershasan, Sarvangasan etc. Asan should help in Pranayaam.

But remember these are practical things. These aid in attaining the truth but truth has nothing to do with it. This is tricky. If by doing pranayam only we get the truth then Pranayam is greater than truth. Then pranayaam is encircling the truth. Truth simply knows no boundaries. So, it's not that without doing pranayam you cant attain truth. You can attain(provided you've lost, you cant attain something which you havn't lost, which you just think is lost for some stupid reason), but again it needs extremely ripe consciouses, what Ashatavakra had. What Ramanna Maharshi had. What Lao Tse had. What Jesus had. Look at the Jesus. A simple shepheard with love is ruling the half of the humanity for any reason possible whatsoever. Knowledge can simply bypass all these practices. There are lots and lots of practical things to know in yoga. But all these are one side and knowledge is one side. Knowledge is the final resultant of doing all the pranayam and asan. That's why Ashtavakra starts with samadhi. He doesn't bother much about pranayam and all. Infact he doesn't bother at all. Definitely he must be a high class saint. He starts from where it ends and ends there only.

Pranayam

Pranayam is generally required to do fine meditations. However, this is not always necessary. One can directly do meditation without doing pranayam. There are so many practical things to know. But you may not need to know all of them provided you understand. That's why I consider Gyan yoga as highest form of yoga. Whatever is the total configurational change by doing thousands of pranayam can be achived in a second by knowledge. Knowledge is the most powerful, it simply bypasses all the minor yogic pratices. However on the contrary, pranyam is not considered as minor yogic practice. At least that is what happneed to Janak. But you need that much ripe consciousness to understand what's going on...But unfortunately the average consciousness of the humanity is much lower than that of Buddha, Jesus etc. Jesus will not do pranayam. Because hee understands. You should do paranaym coz you don't know. There is a possiblity that pranayam can open another dimension for you.

Essentially what pranayaam does is to expand the pran. There is concept of Pran in Yoga. Pran means everything. Sarvam Pranmayam Jagtam. Whatever you see is the manifestation of pran is what they say. They are right. But for our purpose we relate pran with breath. Pran and breath are related. So, pranayam regulates the breath which in turn controls the pran. The final aim of pranayam is attain kumbhak. Kumbhak is the state no breathing. Rather I should say no appreciable breathing. Breathing frequency is too lesss. In samadhi, effective breathing frequency could be once in a day. Patanjanjali has given an excellent forumula to monitor samadhi. Usually 12 prayanyam is 1 pratyahar. 12 Pratyahas is 1 Dharna. 12 Dharana is one Dhyan, 12 Dhyan is one Samadhi. 12 Samadhi is one sanyam. Sanyam is final. Don't go to sanyam state. That's too far. I would recommend to go upto Dhyan state and come back. That takes approximately 3 hours of paranayam. So basically if you do pranayam for approx 3 hours continuously that should log you into Dhyan. Remember body should be standstill for 3 hours. No movements at all. That's not easy to do. So there are many meditative psotures to do that. Padmasan is the best. Buddha used to use Padmasan for his meditations. So try to sit longer time in padmasan. Then do pranayam. Again there are many ways to do pranayam. Choose on your own what suits your best. What Buddha suggest is to observe the breath. Just observe. You can choose anything u like. That's how pranayam aids in meditations.

You never know

Society is not able to produce even a single happy human being. Society is producing babies. The whole world has become a baby factory. We need less people but contented people. Society can produce a great scientist but not a happy person. A simple village farmer, who wakes up in the early morning, goes to the field and work there, come back in the evening and listen BBC on radio, who doesn't have much goals in his life, I consider him far and far better than the CEO of a big company. Much better is that farmer. It makes absolutely no sense to grow alone. We have to grow together. It's absolutely bullshit If I grow and you don't and vice versa. That's why we had said - "Sarve Sukhino Bhawantu". Means everybody has to be happy. We prosper together. It's holy bullshit to prosper alone.

You can think that something might be good or bad but in reality you would never know. Never. Only time will tell. That's why I say just observe. Because, you anyway never gonna know exactly what's happening or gonna happened next or happened. That's why I had said observance with respect to time kills the time. That means if you observe something that will simply vanish. It has to vanish. If you think that you can do something and become happy then you would never be happy. You have to be happy at this very moment. There is no another moment except this present moment. So, if we are not happy at this moment that crudely mean we will be never happy.

Why does this present moment exist is an interesting question should must be addressed. Somehow I consider the space as more fundamental than the time. Meaning the space can create time. Because, the space is more fundamental. It's very difficult to destroy the space. I have been trying to destroy the space since my childhood. No success so far. Time can be stopped. Just by rearranging few atoms in our brain time can be stopped. But space can never be destroyed. And an easier way to stop the time is to stop the clock. Just by stopping the clock we are apparently able to stop the time. That means time is dependent. However, stopping the time in one dimension doesn't mean it is stopped into another dimension. Time exists in the multiple dimension. There was a time when there was no time. Possibly a big bang. There is a place where there is no space. Possibly the point at which big bang happened. If big bang happened at a single point that means the universe is finite. And the probability that the universe is finite is very less. So, there were many big bang happened at many points. May be each big bang constituted a universe.

If you think even more deep much deep you won't find time to be moving. Fundamentally a differential change in the time is equivalent to total spatial configurational differential change in any given reference frame. That's why time moves ahead fastly or slowly. And there can exist infinite reference frames. That means there exist infinite domain of time. The reason I said the time can stop is that in some particular reference frame there may not be any configurational change. So, in that frame time won't move ahead. It will be standstill.

I am firm believer of the existence of many parallel universes in the multiple dimensions.

Jokes

What is a joke? Jokes are part of truth but supposed to generate humor. There must be some amount of truth in the jokes. Otherwise, jokes will make no sense. And sometimes, truth hidden in the jokes are even more heavier than the normal so called truths. Means the knowledge hidden in the jokes are of very high class order. I usually consider jokes as complete truth. Which I think is a mistake. Whenever someone jokes with me, I think he is speaking truth. Lol. Be it no matter how stupid joke. Sometimes, jokes contains the information hidden into you sub-conscious mind. Whatever is there in your mind or sub-consciousness mind it comes out in the form of jokes or dreams. You can use jokes as protective countermeasure. Example, hurt someone saying something and then say that was a joke. Doesn't mean that jokes can't hurt anyone. The problem comes when one person thinks it's a joke and the other doesn't. It happens at the every step of the life. We all are humans that's true, but that doesn't mean we are same. Everyone is living in his/her own world. Don't think there is only one world. There are are approx 6 billion worlds running parallel. Each person has his/her own world. That's why we conflict. At the time of conflicts no one is right or wrong but they are just different. The only solution to avoid the conflict is - at least either of the two has to be submissive. When you are submissive then conflict will vanish. Because you are assimilating now. If you go to the root of the conflict you would always find that conflict doesn't exist. Not only conflict, at the root everything vanishes. Only truth remains.

By nature, I am also very funny and humorous. But, I joke only with people who are close to me. But at times I get confused whether someone is joking or telling truth. Lol (-:) (:-)

Happy New Year 2009

Bye bye 2008 - perhaps the most important year so far which added a chapter in my life :-) Wish 2009 would be even more better. Wish all our dreams come true. Had spent yesternight with Sumit and Shinjan at my home. I wish humanity would head towards better life, love.
