Education

What is the purpose of education? Study and just earn? Our current education is not complete. It mostly gives stress on the intellect. The more intellectual you are, the better student you are - is what society has taught us. To me intellect is like an ash. I give 0 value to intellect. According to me, the more intelligence you have the more problem you will face. What does intelligence mean? It simply means you can think deep and fast. It means your brain perform more chemical reaction. You are able to analyze more. But does it matter to totality? Does it bring happiness? It doesn't. Totality is infinite and standstill. Your intelligence can solve some problem can perform some calculation, can think of some innovations. Take example of Einstein. He was very intelligent. He discovered few laws. But the laws were always there. Whether you discover it or not. You found that law and you moved in that direction. But, there was other directions also. We missed that. There is always an another direction. Take any direction. And trust me you would never know which direction is good. Actually, there is nothing called good or bad. Society creates good or bad. All these socialists create good and bad. Existence doesn't create good or bad. Existence creates only pure existence. But, society comes and starts attributing by good and bad. If I were God, I would like to remove adjectives from parts of speech. Lol. You can't imagine how much harm has happened due to adjectives. Because, these socialists themselves don't know the full story. They know, but a little. They have some idea. Some foggy idea. So they keep on contaminating your mind by teaching is that - this is good, that is bad etc. It has not started today. It has been running since ages. According to me society has never thought even for fraction of second with cool and calm head. Society has been always in hurry. As if a train is missing. There never realized that there is always a next train. Pick a random person and just look into his eyes. You can see whole of the society in him. He is a fruit of society. He is a creation of society. That's how society has prepared him. He is searching something, as if something is lost. Only thing society has taught you is to walk, is to move. They always showed you the path. They never showed you the destination. Because, those teacher and those educationist and those socialist themselves don't know the destination. Only thing they know is the journey, a milestone. Perhaps they think journey is the destination. So they keep on educating you, imparting their ideals on you. But, there is a trick here. A propaganda I would say. Society taught you in a tricky manner. At present, you think that all your ideology is your thinking. But, actually it's something like this - society taught you that you think that it's your ideology. Whatever ideology you have - society taught you to think that it's your ideology. That's why you think that it's your ideology. But, actually it's not yours. It's society's ideology. Society played a propaganda here. Which you will never understand. Because, you were not allowed to understand. Many things has not been revealed to you.

Education which doesn't free you is lame. Our formal education is pathetic. I have not met a single teacher who knows what's happening around. In my childhood a junk teacher was used to come my home to teach me. He used to slap suddenly. And that too very hard. A sudden hard slap on the chick. It was very painful. Such teacher should not be allowed to teach. But, society is always worried of bread so some junk teacher are allowed to teach. If you teach in the wrong manner the people like Hitler will be produced. If you teach that Jew's are bad then Hitler will be produced. Hitler's education was very important factor in him becoming the most destructive person of the last century. By education I don't only mean what you study in the schools and colleges. By education, I mean anything which changes your consciousness. Kids should be taught in the proper manner by proper teacher.

Self Introspection

Few days back I was doing self-introspection. That,who am i ? Why am i like this? It appears these questions are wrong. Any question which starts with "why" is more difficult to answer. "Why" makes the question more difficult. Why does 1 plus 1 makes 2. This is impossible to answer in totality. In fact, you can't answer even a single question with totality. I was trying to analyze Newton's laws. I did analyze to some extent. But, after that you never know what's happening. It goes to quantum level and after that other types of problems starts arising. Unknown factors became so huge that I stopped analyzing. Analyze, anything in totality and it will reach to Brahman level. I concluded that somehow Brahman is not allowing these electrons to disintegrate. What is the cause which makes these electrons stable? Why doesn't it simply disappears? There is definitely some unknown force operating inside electrons, inside quarks which is holding it's existence. That force is causing the whole of the universe to remain existent. From where does that force come. It comes from Brahman. Brahman is attribute less. How does Brahman know that it has to keep the electron stable? Why such a complex system is working flawlessly. How does electron know that it doesn't has to disintegrate? There must be some consciousness operating among these electrons. I am amazed, the way the universe is functioning. How does universe know that it has to survive? Everything seems so stable. There must be some super-consciousness operating in the core of the universe which is not allowing these atoms or electrons to disintegrate. But what is the purpose of that super-consciousness behind it? But Brahman is unexpressed. And the universe is expressed. So how does this transition from unexpressed to expressed happens. Unexpressed cannot express anything because it's unexpressed. Then how can expressed come into picture? Brahman cannot create anything expressed. There is no desire left in Brahman to create anything. Brahman is unperturbed state. To create something we need perturbation. Unperturbed thing cannot create anything. Unperturbed cannot be perturbed. If in the beginning everything was unperturbed then perturbed will never exist. And perturbed cannot come out of unperturbed. So, definitely perturbed existed since very beginning. From day 1 perturbed exists. Otherwise, there is no possibility of any kind of perturbations to come into existence. Then, what is the cause of the very first perturbations? I don't know. The more you think it gets more complicated. The brain has it's own limitation to handle complexity. However, there are ways to tackle it. Do not solve the problem. Accept the problem. The moment you accept the problem, problem dissolves. Then you don't need to worry about the very first perturbation of the universe. Or handle it in taciturn way. Taciturn is the best answer to all the problems. Society, never worried about totality. Never. Society has always worried about partiality. This is where whole of the problem comes. Partiality imparts problems. Partiality means problem. Totality means solution.

Coming back to the main topic. Lol. I was doing self-introspection. That why am I like this? Like writing post on the subjects which more than 99.999% of humanity will not understand. Writing blogs on the love. The one reason I could find that love was the missing factor in my childhood. If you are not being loved, you will write about love. You will express it in some manner. If you are being loved, you will never write about it. In my childhood I was so engrossed into study that I never gave a damn about love. I was a guy with tens and hundreds of books packed in a closed room. Study became so important I forgot love. My mind, my intelligence everything grew but my heart couldn't grow. Apart from that I don't have sisters. So all those teasing part I missed. So, somewhere deep down in my self the teasing part is still indwelling inside. That is one reason I like teasing girls, which they don't want probably. Due to this, I developed bad relationship with couple of girls. I apologies to everyone whosoever felt bad by my teasing.

Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na

So, happend to watch Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na this sunday paying Rs 200 for the ticket. Lol. In Muzaffarpur it would be Rs 10. Twenty times more costlier. Of course, on the cost of AC and a cozy seat. Humanity would have never thought that shadows moving on a white curtian in a dark room upto the time by which humans do not feel to piss will become one of the most integral part of people's lifestyle. Lol.

I liked the movie.

The movie is for youngesters. A love story. As usual Aditi and Jai are from same college. More than 99% of affairs start from college. Because, college is the place where you can interact with girls. Otherwise it's impossible to make a gf in CCD, in a shopping complex. They studied together for 5 years and didn't even know that they are in love, inspite of their parents and everybody else suspecting so. As if they are too innocent like kids. Both find partners against each other. Finally, they started realizing that they love each other and again became couple. To trivial to guess what's gonna happen next. But, overall movie is good. Songs are also good - Kabhi Kabhi Aditi...Jokes too - when Jai's mom says 5 years went on phone. Lol. Aditi's bro was even more funny when he pours water on Jai. Lol. Genelia D'souza is looking too good in the movie ;) Imran Khan was also nice as a debut.

Death - The most taboo word

Why am I writing on Death? On such a taboo subject. Lost a cousin brother :( Chahere bhaiya the. Would be 40 + age group. Today, afternoon my dad called me told this sick news. He used to work in a bank in Ara. He was a good person. Fully inculcated with maithil values. My dad had met with him in Feb'08. Don't know what went wrong and it happened. Perhaps, one of the most sorrowful event of my family. No idea how bhabhi and his kids gonna cope this situation. No idea. Don't know. Will have to clean shave my hair on the head. Anyways, these are just part of life.

Above is the reality. Now coming to philosophical part. I remember in my 10Th class sanskrit book we had yudhishtir and yaksha samwaad. Yaksha ask yudhisthir - Kim aascharyam? That is what is wonder of this world? Yudhishtir says - Everyday people die but, everyone thinks that he/she will never die. This is the biggest wonder of the world. He is rightly saying. Death is the biggest sorrow of life. No body wants to die. Attachment of life is so high that to live people are even ready to die. Everyone wants to live. To not to die they are even ready to die. Life is the biggest attachment. That's why death is the most sorrowful event. However, there are ways to make it a celebration.

All the religions you see has been sprout out of death. It's death which created all the religions. Death is the seed, Religion is the tree, Moksha is the fruit. Buddha saw a dead body, and he left everything. Buddhism came into picture. Nothing was happening to him unless he saw a dead body. The dead body was the point of transition. He saw the dead body and he understood. We also see dead body but we don't understand anything. We see it's not our body and we happily return to our home. But, we all know what's gonna happen one day. It's okay if I say, that dead body was a very important cause behind the creation of Buddhism. Hinduism is also like that. In Hinduism there is a concept of Moksha. Which means liberation from the cycle of birth and death. So death is the central point of all the religion. If people were not dying then we would not have religion probably. It's death which propels us to think what's gonna happen after death. Hinduism believes in re-incarnation. Christianity, Judaism, Islam doesn't believe in re-incarnation. For them there is only one life. That's why they live with full intensity. They have to do everything in this life only. Because, there is only one life. They have to make full use of it. That's one reason they could progressed more. In India, things happen in a relaxed manner. We believe in eternity. We do not believe in single life concept. That's why you won't find Indians that intensive as people in the west. People in the west are always in hurry. Because, they have only one life. Say 100 years. In India, people don't hurry much. Coz they have next life. If something they cant achieve in the current life, they aspire to achieve in the next life. Chalo is janam me nahi to agle janam me hi sahi. Even marriage is done for 7 life time. That is you marry same girl till next 7 life time. Indian's plans can span upto 7 life times. Indians can have plan upto eternity also. Lol.

The whole endeavour is to get released from the cycle of birth and death. This what Hinduism is all about. This is called Moksha. But it doesn't happen so easily. This is probably the most rarest phenomena. It is said for Moksha even the kingdom of whole universe can be dropped. Even the kingdom of whole of the universe is not even parts and partial of Moksha. Moksha means you done. You are supremely free. There is no bondage now. No slavery. No desire. What will you desire? Even the desire of desire is gone. Difficult to achieve. Buddha achieved that. It happens very rarely. Hardly among billions and trillions of people anyone achieve moksha. Buddha was out of any desire. He didn't have any desire left in him. He didn't have even desire to take food. Amazing must be HE. Wanted to meet him. Lol.

Death puts a question mark on our every activity. Suppose, someone is earning, enjoying, eating, shitting, working hard. But why? To die one day? No matter how great we do but we anyway gonna die, gonna be mingled into dust. So why panic. More than 99% of humanity has been working for no reason. Has been working to be finished. Perhaps one reason I could think of is working lets you to forget death temporarily. But, we all know it's gonna happen. Not today, but some day later. By keeping our self busy in work we try to forget death. And we do succeed to some extent. And we keep on neglecting death our whole life. And one day comes and everything get finished. All our sand-castle we had made get destroyed. All the dreams are destroyed. Because, dreams were created. Anything created will be destroyed one day. Nothing remains. Only thing which was never created will be never destroyed. And that's the existence. Existence was never created. Never. It's always there. Except existence everytihng is created. So, they will be destroyed. They will have to destroy. That is one reason I said - Existence is the only God. Eating, earning, sleeping, enjoying, mating and shitting is not the only activity of the life. Death destroyes everything. That's is one reason the whole of humanity has been afraid of death. No body wants to die. I myself wants to live 200 years. Lol. I want to see how would be the world 200 years later from now. What kind of gadgets would be used. etc. But at the end I want to be supremely free. In any case I do not want re-birth. No desire left to learn A, B, C, D again just to dig my own grave. This life will be my last life. The last game. The last drama. The last play. The last barrier.

Oneness With Nature

We are definitely not in oneness with nature. Otherwise, nature should obey us. If you are in oneness with nature then nature would obey you. Suppose, it's raining and you want to go to office. You are wishing if rain would stop. But the rain doesn't stop. And you are late for office. Why doesn't rain stop? Fundamentally, it should stop. Because, you are wishing it to stop. If Jesus wish, it stops. You also wish but it doesn't stop. Why? What is wrong happening? Because, there is a difference between you and Jesus. Jesus was in oneness with whole of the nature. He was nature himself. He respect nature and it's existence. That's why nature obeys him. Winds obeys his words, birds talk to him etc. No body obeys you. Because, you yourself don't obey yourself. What others will obey you. But, when you are in oneness with whole of the existence, then no one can disobey you. Then wind will listen your directions. Then bird will sing for you. Then monkeys will give you bowl of honey just like they gave to Buddha. Then whole nature will dance for you. That is what happened with Jesus. He brought life back to a dead girl. Amazing.

The reason why nature doesn't obey you is because of inertia. For example you cant disobey Newton's law. In general you cannot. But that doesn't mean under no circumstances you can disobey Newton's laws. If that is the case then Newton's laws are truth. Because, truth cannot be disobeyed. Newton's laws are indeed truth but partial truth. These laws can be disobeyed. Because the core of the existence is even more subtler than the cause which governs Newton's laws. Subtler will be powerful. So, if you have access to the core of the existence then you should be able to bend Newton's laws. Not only Newton's laws, but any laws. And in fact Newton's laws doesn't work at very high speed and within atoms. Subtler can always bend grosser.

Started this game in Ruy Lopez style thats - e4, e5, Nf3, Nc6, Bb5. I liked this opening, attacking as well as defensive. It gives slight advantage to white to capture center sqaures.

Meditation

One of my friend asked me to write something about meditation. Also got feedback about previous post that it was too heavy to grasp the subject matter. I understand. The topic itself was abstract. No worries if you couldn't grasp my previous post. So, in this post I am writing about meditation.

Meditation is the key. Nothing happens without meditation. All these philosophy are valueless without meditation. Again I would refrain myself from talking philosophy behind meditation. Rather I would concentrate on practical aspect of meditation. Meditation is easy if you are good in Pranayaam. I won't talk about pranayam in this post. The main thing pranayam does is to attain the kumbhak. Kumbhak is state of no breathing. A simple procedure to start meditation could be something like this - Sit in any aasan, comfortably. Close your eyes. Then concentrate on your breaths. Just watch your breaths. After some time breath should calm down. Once breath is calm and you are also relaxed then look at the space between the two eyebrows keeping eyes closed. When you close your eyes we still see something. In yoga it is called "Chidakash". That represents the whole of the creation. So, the meditator should concentrate on the space between two eyebrows. Space between two eyebrows is very important in Yoga. It is usually termed as third eye. Space between two eyebrows is the doorway of Brahman. This is the door from where yogis enter into Brahman. Anything below this is vyakt. Anything above this is ayakt. This is where ayakt and vyakt meet together. This is the point of transition. So, basically meditating at the space between two eyebrows will be very effective. There are many ways to meditate. I just described one which I think is very powerful. In addition to that one can also chant OM while meditating. As and when you progress ahead you may not need to chant even OM. You would automatically hear universal sound OM. In yoga it is called "Naad". You can meditate on that sound also.

Nothing happens much if you meditate for half and hour. But if you meditate for 2 hours continuously many things can happen. Actually, it depends on your current spiritual status. I would suggest to go deep into meditation. But don't go very deep. Very deep meditation can create trouble also. Meditation is like you are diving into ocean of infinite depth. The more you dive in it the more it becomes deep. So, there is chance of drowning in it. The amount of pleasure is so high that you might not want to come out of meditation. Lol. This happens rarely but can happen. So I described two method of mediation- 1. Meditate at the space between two eyebrows, 2. Meditate at OM sound. You can choose any method you like better. :)

Abstraction

Simple is beautiful. Abstraction is like an ocean. It has no end. It goes on and on...Abstraction is an aspect of totality. However, you can still treat abstraction as the genesis of the whole creation. It's so abstract that it becomes causal. Abstraction can be basis. So abstract that it become useless. Usefulness is not abstraction. There is no direct use of God that's why God is an abstract concept. So abstract that mind cannot comprehend. If mind can comprehend the abstraction then mind is greater than the abstraction. At some point of time mind has to stop. From there onwards the layers of abstraction starts. To me there is no difference between God and Abstractions. God = Abstraction. God is perhaps the most abstract concept ever created which is still working flawlessly. One of the definition of God in the Hinduism is - Not this Not this. What it means is whatever you see through your eyes, whatever you hear through you ear, whatever you smell through your nose, basically whatever you sense is not God. This is negative abstraction. Keep on negating. Negate to the extent that there is nothing left to negate any more. If something is still left to negate then know that that's not the state of God. That is one kind of abstraction. The another definition says - Everything is God. Sarvam Khalvidam. Now this is positive abstraction. Assimilate that everything is God. And if you think that everything is God except just one atom then know that you don't know God. It has to go to extreme. Either nothing is God or Everything is God. In that extremity of abstraction you find God. That is one reason I said love everybody. Everybody. If you hate even a single person in the entire universe that means you hate the whole of creation itself. Because, that person is part of creation. Whole creation is sustaining him. One of the biggest unfortune of the humanity was the disintegration of sense of belongingness. We think we are separate. We think that we exist as a separate independent entity. That was what society has taught us. And society became full of morons and pervs. Remember one thing whatever ideology and understanding you have is not yours. You are taught to think like that. That's why you think like that. It's not your thinking. It's thinking of society. Society is a strange thing. You can treat society like a human. Society takes birth, society grows and become young, and one day it dies. It may so happen that society doesn't want to survive for some reason. This is what happened with Roman civilization. It got fully extinct. If Roman civilization can extinct then anything can extinct. That I believe.You are taught to think that whatever you think is your thinking. So, that's not your thinking. The point I am trying to make is we all are connected to same source. It's like this - tide might think that he is separated from the ocean. But when tide exist as a separate entity it dies down into the ocean. But the moment tide realizes that I am the ocean itself. Then there is no question of dying. We are exactly like those tides waving the lap of consciousness. But of ego we think that we exist as a separate entity. And that everyone thinks. This is where the root problem comes. Do not slot the existence. Slotting has always created problems. It's all one - it has to be integrated. This is what is the true meaning of Abstraction I am talking in this post. Abstraction means integrated. Abstraction means united entity. Together. We grow together. One person growing and rest all going to grave makes no sense to me. Everybody has to grow together towards the perfection. Because we all are same. Jesus said "I and my father are same". What does it mean? He is simply saying that we all are same. Same existence is everywhere. Be it for Jesus, be it for you. Only difference between you and Jesus is that Jesus know that he and his father are same. But you know that you and your father are not same. But it doesn't affect the existence by any means. The abstract pure nature of existence demands that whole humanity has to grow together. This is what is the constraint to be met for happy humanity. Till today we have not met this constraint. There were many theologians many philosopher. Be it Socrates, Plato, Lao Tse, Arvind, Vivekanand or anyone. No body could ever understand this concept of universal equanamity which demands every individual to be happy. This is the innate nature of whole creation. Because creation is not slotted. It's not digital, it's analogue. This demands every individual to be happy. This is one aspect of abstraction. There are other aspects as well. In fact there are many aspect. It can goes on and on....It won't end. The aspect I described is part of the existence. And is stable. That means some another aspect working parallel is trying to nullify the cause of dissolution of the former aspect. That is why so many people differs in their theology. Because there exists many parallel abstractions. Mind you - it's not one abstraction. At a time there exist many parallel abstraction cooperating themselves in sustaining whole of the existence. Now different people has different power to perceive the abstractions. That is why their ideology differs. Their understanding differs. Still at some point of time it has to be brought under umbrella of single abstraction.

This weekend

Happy Friendship Day

Had a long weekend. 3 days. Fri-Sat-Sun. It was full of coding. Especially for the chat server I am making. Wrote 5 servers in total. Searched on net for any legacy code. Got few codes to play with. It's working now. Multiple users can connect to the chat server. The most important part of socket programming was socket_select and socket_read. I tried both blocking and non-blocking connection. Non-blocking is not recommended as it eats of lots of CPU time. It still however has problems - when transfer is idle for some time say 2-3 minutes. Response after idle time for 2-3 minutes is unpredictable. Server doesn't broadcast the message. Neither it appears to be echoing properly. I am suspecting it's some kind of issue of timeout with client telnet. No fully sure though. May be there is some catch somewhere in the code. Have to look into that.

Secondly, keeping timeout problem apart, I am thoroughly enjoying chatting from telnet. This is the very basic chat and is the fundamental concept being IRC. That's how so many chat protocol have evolved. It worked in windows telnet program, putty, kermit, absolute telnet, wise telnet. I downloaded many telnet programs to make sure that when we press enter it sends LF-CR to the server. This is required by TCP/IP protocol. Hopefully it does. Kermit has option to select CR or LF or LF-CR. I liked kermit.

Thirdly, I also spent a lot time on font for my UNIX. I am looking for Courier New, Font size 12 and bold font applied across Xterm, GVIM and Emacs. Courier New font is available in windows. But, unfortunately it's not available in Linux/Solaris. :(( There are ways to install fonts but that needs superuser account. Wonder why Courier New font is not added in Linux. MS has copyright on it? Meanwhile, I am unhappily managing with Courier-12-bold. Looks good but not as good as if it were Courier New. In case you know how to use courier new font in Linux please care to share.
